Mission Statement
The Hydrogen Minute is dedicated to providing an educational minute per week about hydrogen to elementary and secondary school students.
Operated as a free service to the educational community by Earth Alert, the Hydrogen Minute realizes that the future of our civilization relies on our children having a fundamental understanding of how it is possible to power our planet. Because the Hydrogen Minute is funded by donations only and not controlled by any energy lobby or organization, the pros and cons of hydrogen energy can be openly discussed and the political, social, and economic implications will be studied in an unbiased and scientific way.
Curriculum:
The curriculum will consist of brief lessons that stimulate classroom discussion. Each Hydrogen Minute will average 100 words and can be read aloud in class or silently in one minute. Students will have the ability through a net-safe moderated discussion board to comment or ask questions at Hydrogen Minute. This teacher-supervised and moderated forum will build interest and help students discern fact from fiction, and not only build a scientific basis for a hydrogen economy, but improve reasoning, research, and discernment skills.

The Hydrogen Minute is dedicated to the future of a hydrogen civilization, where planet Earth replaces fossil fuels with the most common element in the universe -- hydrogen. Our mission at the Hydrogen Minute is to show how hydrogen can power transportation and energy needs for the planet with zero emissions.
